About the Role

A&B Foundry LLC is seeking a motivated and trainable Entry-Level Technical Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is designed for individuals interested in developing a career in technical sales within a manufacturing environment. You will receive hands-on training while supporting customer interactions, quoting processes, and collaboration with engineering and production teams.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to learn consultative sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Support senior sales representatives with requests for quotes (RFQs), proposals, and customer follow-ups
Participate in customer meetings and assist with technical documentation and follow-up actions
Develop product knowledge including materials, manufacturing processes, and basic blueprint reading
Assist with preparing quotes and maintaining accurate CRM records
Build relationships with customers while learning consultative sales practices

Qualifications

About the Role

Leading 90-Year-Old New York Metal Fabrication Company is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator/Heavy Plate Fabricator to support fabrication operations involving cutting, bending, forming, and assembling metal components. This role requires strong hands-on fabrication skills, the ability to read mechanical drawings, and the capability to operate a variety of fabrication machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities

Perform metal fabrication tasks and additional duties as assigned by the Foreman.
Support production schedules by completing assigned jobs on time and according to specifications.

Key Duties

Operate fabrication equipment including power brakes, shears, rollers, and related tools.
Mark cutting lines, bending lines, and layouts per mechanical drawings.
Fabricate and assemble general sheet metal and plate metal components.
Verify accuracy using measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and gauges.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Identify and report errors, issues, or discrepancies to the Foreman.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on metal fabrication experience.
Skilled in shearing, brake forming, punching, rolling, and plate metal work.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and fabrication layouts.
Strong understanding of material types and their applications.
Proficient in the use of measuring tools and basic math calculations.
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Must be able to follow PPE requirements (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves, proper clothing).
