Description
What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
- Diagnose electrical and control-system issues using meters and diagnostic tools
- Work with PLCs, VFDs, motors, and electrical controls
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
- Partner with Operations and Mechanical teams to resolve equipment issues
- Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a strong safety record
What We're Looking For
(Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education):
- 4+ years of electrical/technical maintenance experience or equivalent military technical experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with PLCs and VFDs
- Knowledge of electrical principles, electronics, motors, and controls
- Comfortable using electrical meters and hand/power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Military Veterans Encouraged to Apply
- Navy Nuclear Electricians (EM/EMN)
- Navy Electronics Technicians (ET/ETN)
- Other military electricians, electronics technicians, or power-generation backgrounds
- Military personnel with experience troubleshooting complex electrical/mechanical systems

- A difficult electrical problem you've diagnosed and repaired
- How you troubleshoot when you don't immediately know the answer
- PLC/VFD experience
- Use of electrical meters and diagnostic equipment
