Location: Amherst, VA or Massillon, Ohio

The Crew Leader is responsible for supervising and assisting with industrial chemical cleaning operations. This includes handling industrial chemicals such as degreasers, caustics, and acids, building and managing a team of 4–8 people, and ensuring safe, efficient work is performed while meeting customer requirements. The role requires a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and customer communication.



Responsibilities
Leads: A crew of 4–8 employees in conducting chemical cleaning operations.
Handles: Industrial chemicals (including degreasers, caustics, and acids) safely and effectively.
Ensures: Customer needs are met while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Maintains: Compliance with safety protocols including PPE usage, mill site safety, and chemical handling procedures.
Communicates: With customers to determine schedules, needs, opportunities, and concerns.
Travels: Every 6–8 weeks (including occasional weekends) to assist with customer accounts.
Supports: Crew operations by assisting hands-on during cleanings, operating equipment, and training staff.
Organize: And manages daily work while ensuring tasks are performed in a professional and efficient manner.


Requirements
• Experience in industrial services strongly preferred
• Must be able to travel every 6–8 weeks; overnight stays required
• Ability to lead, communicate, and work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to work hard, get hands-on, and follow direction to learn company processes
• Positive, results-driven attitude with strong professionalism and organization
• Must pass a pre-employment and possible random drug screenings
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
