- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines; safety is non-negotiable
- Maintain rigorous quality standards in compliance with regulatory and company requirements
- Successfully complete new-hire foundational training and maintain required certifications
- Use computers effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- Read, interpret, and follow electronic work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment based on task requirements
- Operate mechanical lifts (ladders, tiger lifts, snorkel lifts)
- Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment (ratchets, screwdrivers, power tools, multimeters, continuity testers)
- Apply solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes
- Inspect work for quality and Foreign Object Debris (FOD)
- Work around energized electrical systems and in high-noise environments
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (10–35 lbs), climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending, reaching, twisting, and standing/walking for extended periods
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in a technical or mechanical role using hand, power, or pneumatic tools
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly environments
- Minimum 1+ year of experience using computer applications (email, internet, Microsoft Office, or similar systems)
- Minimum 1+ year of experience reading and following work instructions, blueprints, drawings, or specifications (in English)
- Ability to apply basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to work a variable shift schedule
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role
- Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals
- Ability to complete and maintain Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications
Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
- 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ year of composite materials experience
Export Control & Assessment Requirements
- This position is 100% onsite
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- Completion of the Aerospace Technician & Mechanic Aptitude Virtual Job Tryout is required within 5 days of invitation
