Position Description:
The Industrial Sales Engineer identifies Industrial Design/Build refrigeration and HVAC system install opportunities, builds relationships with customers and general contractors, and wins profitable business for the company in their assigned territory. This position is accountable for meeting assigned revenue and profit targets.
• Research assigned territory to identify potential opportunities, under-served markets, and potential untapped and underutilized revenue opportunities that are aligned with the company strategy.
• Manages the entire sales process from lead generation through closing, effectively developing and managing the sales pipeline to achieve annual revenue and margin targets.
• Directly communicate with customers to design and build new and/or remodeled/upgraded HVAC and refrigeration systems by understanding their needs and providing solutions that work with the structure’s layout, materials requirements, and budget.
• Facilitate quote communications and/or formal proposals for presentation to the customer.
• Coordinate with company stakeholders to provide cost estimates, drawings, energy projections, construction schedules, and other deliverables as needed.
• Assist estimators in developing cost estimates for design, engineering, fabrication, and construction of projects.
• Provide customers with install project advisory support (i.e., application of appropriate systems such as recirculation, flooded, DX, trans-critical CO2, etc.) and HVAC and refrigeration equipment (e.g., compressors, condensers, evaporators, etc.).
• Work diligently with customers, engineers, project managers, and other professionals throughout the entire construction process, including coordination of any changes that a customer may need or request.
• Comply with all required sales processes including operating within approved pricing parameters and keeping our CRM software (Salesforce) current.
• Comply with all customer on-boarding processes when adding new customers to company's portfolio.
• Responsible for the successful on-boarding of new customers, including the transition to the Account Management team.
• Build end customer relationships to close profitable sales of industrial project work while also pursuing service contract attachment for install customers.
• Work with the VP of Sales to proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer and regional market needs on an ongoing basis.
• Work with VP of Sales to develop an annual install project pipeline forecast and sales growth plan with monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
• Act as a technical expert for the company internal stakeholders on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Cross-sell other applicable company solutions whenever possible (i.e., service contracts, EMS, energy reduction solutions).
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
• Must have either a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent work experience.
• Bachelor's degrees in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred if has work experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in the HVAC and refrigeration construction industry is required.
• Knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC is required.
• Prior success selling Design-Build install projects is required.
• Minimum of 7-10 years HVAC and Refrigeration sales experience, including demonstrated success in selling and managing install projects as well adding new customers to a company's portfolio.
• Ability to generate leads, develop sales strategies, and close new business.
• Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and/or to develop forecasts.
• Prior success selling service and maintenance agreements is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
• Ability to work with AutoCAD is preferred.
• Experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM software program is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

Position Description:

Position Description:
The traveling industrial controls technician is responsible for the installation, programming, and commissioning of the building automation controls systems and their associated devices including but not limited to sensors, actuators, relays, valves, variable frequency drives, etc. This position requires extensive travel across the U.S.

Position Description:

• Design of complete building automation systems, including the specification and sizing of

• Development of graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems.

Position Description:
This position is responsible for assisting in the repair and overhaul of equipment, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to ensure customer needs are met efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Provides service to the customer base by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that exceeds customers’ expectations
• Provides general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors in a safe and timely manner.
• Provides preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunction and any operating deficiency of the mechanical equipment to ensure quality work performance for the customer base.

Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000; OT paid for after-hours, weekend, and holidays

Position Description:
The company HVAC Technician is responsible for serving our customers either on site, by phone, or via remote internet connection. You’ll be involved in chiller startup/commissioning, resolving technical issues, troubleshooting, warranty work, and performing chiller maintenance. Responsibilities include:
• Sustaining and delivering high customer satisfaction; communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts.
• Provide technical support on indoor/outdoor company chillers
• Service and troubleshoot chillers in the field
• Provide guidance to customers as to the operation and maintenance of their equipment
• Be on-call to receive emergency customer calls approximately one week per month/2 months
• Complete installations; deliver and remove equipment required for installation, in accordance with company standards
• Diagnose and target customer’s operational problems
• Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment
• Promote the sale of add-on work or service agreements

Requirements:
• 2-4 years of HVAC field experience (specifically chiller); turbocor/mag bearing is a plus
• Ability to work independently or with a team

Position Details:
Title: Building Automation Field Service Technician
Location: Remote, home-based in NYC, preferably near/around Nassau Country/Manhattan within 50 miles.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch and a 35-hour work week.
Compensation: $34/hr.-$48/hr. starting base rate, depending on skills & experience + O/T paid at 1.5X base rate for any work above 7-hours daily + spot incentive bonus paid out quarterly + pay increases every 6 months + company car + cell phone & laptop + additional outstanding Local Union 3 benefits on top of company’s (all medical paid for, etc.).

Travel: Daily travel from your home office to service clients across all five NYC Boroughs. Typically, different site each day for preventative maintenance. If upgrades or installs, likely same site for a week or two.

Position Description: In this role you will service newer and older company building management and HVAC controls systems at client sites, especially Company and Tridium product line systems. You will conduct preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of systems – including detailed troubleshooting. You will interact with clients and provide high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on-site customer interfacing. This role requires a highly motivated, skilled service technician who is a team-player, can think outside the box, and thrives in an environment where creativeness, imagination, and direct contribution to success are hallmarks. Key responsibilities include:
• Regular communication with clients – especially upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
• Becoming familiar with customer operating problems and train customer on control systems operation.
• Keeping customer informed on service work & system recommendations, upgrades, replacement, etc.
• Provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment.
• Manage assigned work to meet/exceed service time, requirements, and customer satisfaction.
• Interface with service business leader, supervisor, project manager, and sales on projects, activities, etc.

• Complete, compile, and track job documentation, etc.
• Assist in loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required.

Requirements: 3+ years of experience with HVAC controls or building automation systems including commissioning and start-up. Familiar with Niagara Tridium or JCI systems. Experience working with system sequence of operations, system graphics and configuring, and mapping system points. Experience working with front end & station configuration, computers networks and switches. Excellent ability to troubleshoot and work with voltages below 480V like mounting panels, working-controllers, ladder logic, and wire termination. Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, and building automation systems. Familiar with computer programs and software applications related to HVAC industry. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service. Valid driver’s license.
