Job Description


ATEK Metal Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our production operations and facility infrastructure. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine downtime.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test systems, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct regular preventive and predictive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

Education and/or Experience Expected:

  • High school Diploma or GED required
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience with emphasis in hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial skill sets with some experience in PLC and HVAC.
  • Must pass ATEK Functional Job Analysis and Pre- Employment Drug Screen for Maintenance Position.
  • Proficient with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and material handling tools.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
