Description
The CNC Machine Tool Electrician / Commissioning / Service Technician is responsible for performing electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on large CNC machine tools including vertical lathes, milling machines, and grinders. This role ensures the successful startup, calibration, and operation of high-precision CNC machinery while collaborating with engineers and technicians to optimize performance and reliability.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in machine tool repair, installation, or CNC equipment maintenance
• Strong electrical and CNC aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret PLC architecture, technical manuals, and blueprints
• Experience with servo motors, drives, and motion control systems
• Ability to understand, create, and modify PLC logic
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively
