Description
The CNC Machine Tool Mechanic / Commissioning / Service Technician will perform mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on large CNC machine tools such as vertical lathes, milling machines, and grinders. This role ensures the successful startup, calibration, and optimal performance of precision CNC machinery while working closely with engineers and technicians to improve reliability and efficiency.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or engineering degree/certification preferred
• Proven experience as a Machine Tool Repair or Installation Technician, CNC Equipment Maintenance, or similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret PLC architecture, technical manuals, and blueprints
• Experience with servo motors, drives, and motion control systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and control system issues
• German language skills a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel 80%+ throughout the U.S. and Canada
