Description

The Shipping and Receiving Lead coordinates daily shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory support, and transportation activities. This role ensures that high-value aerospace and defense parts are accurately received, packaged,
documented, stored, and safely transported between vendors, customers, and company facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily shipping, receiving, staging, pickups, and deliveries.
• Inspect, package, label, load, unload, and secure incoming and outgoing materials.
• Verify part numbers, purchase orders, shipping documents, delivery information, and material traceability records.
• Maintain accurate inventory and promptly communicate schedule changes, discrepancies, and quality concerns.
• Safely operate company vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, lifts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Handle high-value aerospace and defense hardware in compliance with company safety, quality, AS9100, and ITAR requirements.
• Provide daily status updates and support practical process improvements.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, & Education:

• Valid Class C driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling within a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment and regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organization and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools.
• Ability to follow PPE and safety requirements and eligibility to obtain a company-sponsored DoD security clearance.

Nice-To-Have Skills, Experience, & Education:

• Shipping and receiving coordination or supervisory experience; aerospace, defense, space, or advanced manufacturing experience; familiarity with AS9100 or ITAR requirements; additive manufacturing exposure..
