The Maintenance Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for maintenance, facilities, and reliability operations across multiple manufacturing sites in Ohio. This individual will drive equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, process-driven manufacturing environment.
This role provides both strategic and hands-on technical leadership, aligning maintenance strategy with plant KPIs while developing a high-performing, safety-focused maintenance organization. The Maintenance Manager partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Production, and EHS teams to support overall business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership for maintenance, facilities, and reliability functions across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Align maintenance resources to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), including OEE, cost targets, and reliability metrics
  • Lead and manage Cap-Ex projects that enhance capacity, safety, and operational efficiency
  • Own and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and asset performance
  • Lead CMMS administration, maintenance planning, and work order management processes
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Manage MRO inventory, vendor relationships, contractors, and service agreements
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Production, and EHS to ensure alignment with plant and corporate objectives
  • Develop and lead maintenance talent through coaching, performance management, and succession planning
  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture and ensure full regulatory and compliance adherence

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale manufacturing environments
  • Strong background in maintenance and reliability leadership (multi-site experience preferred)
  • Deep technical expertise across:
    • Mechanical systems
    • Electrical systems
    • Controls and automation (PLCs, VFDs, robotics)
    • Pneumatics, HVAC, and power distribution
  • Proven experience with CMMS administration and maintenance system optimization
  • Strong data-driven and analytical decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing technical teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
