CEL - Critical Power

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all technical documentation related to our projects e.g. customer specifications, change control documents or quotation revisions. This role ensures that documentation is accurate, up to date, kept in an auditable state and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:

Document Management:

• Control and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, project manuals and quality records.
• Ensure proper version control and document traceability.
• Implement and enforce document control procedures in line with ISO standards.

System Administration:

• Manage electronic document management systems (EDMS).
• Upload, archive and retrieve documents as required.

Compliance & Quality:

• Ensure documentation meets regulatory, customer and internal quality requirements.
• Support audits by providing accurate and timely documentation.

Coordination:

• Liaise with engineering, production and project teams to collect and distribute documents.
• Track document approval workflows and expedite reviews when necessary.

Reporting:

• Maintain document registers and produce status reports for management.
• Monitor KPIs related to document turnaround times and accuracy.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, or related field.
• +3 years in document control within engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with electrical switchgear industry documentation preferred.
• Proficiency in document management systems and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management principles.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, written communication and organizational skills.
