Description

OWN THE PROJECT. DELIVER THE MISSION.
Lead meaningful U.S. government marine projects with a global engineering company. Take ownership from the first request for quotation through delivery—working directly with government customers and coordinating teams that keep critical vessels operating.

WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?

Real ownership — manage government marine service projects from RFQ and proposal through execution.

  • High-impact work — support vessels, major diesel equipment, and mission-critical service needs.
  • Global backing — coordinate resources across Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, and worldwide operations.
  • Florida lifestyle — work with an established Fort Lauderdale team; relocation assistance available.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Prepare quotations, plan projects, and manage scope, cost, schedules, resources, and delivery.

  • Coordinate field service, engineering, workshop, and operational teams across locations.
  • Communicate directly with U.S. government customers and manage project execution.
  • Join a team ready to grow — make a visible contribution from day one.

MILITARY & CIVILIAN EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSLATES

You do not need to be a marine diesel expert or hold an engineering degree. The organization values people who can manage projects, navigate government-contract work, and deliver results.

  • Military: Acquisition, logistics, program/project management, engineering operations, contracting support, or technical leadership; officers and experienced NCOs welcome.
  • Civilian: Defense contractors, government-project coordinators/managers, contract administrators, and technical service project leaders.
  • Especially valuable: Government contracting familiarity, RFQ/proposal experience, customer communication, and disciplined project execution.
PMP certification, bachelor's/engineering degree, FAR awareness, and marine diesel knowledge are advantages—not strict requirements.

COMPENSATION & INTERVIEW PROCESS

Base salary: Approximately $117,000 midpoint; compensation based on experience and fit.

  • Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates moving to Fort Lauderdale.
  • Initial virtual interview with the project leadership team; follow-up interview may include an on-site visit.
