Mobile Fleet technician

Description

Seeking an experienced Mobile Fleet Technician to perform on-site preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks at customer locations. This role requires a customer-first mindset, strong diesel experience, and the ability to work independently in varied environments.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

• 3+ years diesel repair experience (fleet, dealership, or mobile preferred)
• Technical school certificate or equivalent hands-on experience
• Valid Driver's License
• DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain)
• Strong diagnostic/troubleshooting skills across:
  • Brakes (ASE T4)
  • Preventive Maintenance (ASE T8)
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (standing, walking, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Clear verbal and written communication

Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

• 5-7 years diesel/fleet repair experience
• Experience with repair planning and parts reuse
• Proficient with diagnostic software and Microsoft Office
• Work Environment & Physical Demands
• On-site work at customer locations, outdoors, in varying weather
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, heat/cold
• Heavy lifting, climbing, kneeling, and standing required
