Description
The Centerline Planning & Support group provides centralized planning and reporting for both central and distributed new unit projects. This includes common management of technical issues, empty bird planning, tool forecasting and other back-office support functions.
- Develop common forecasting tools and report on both central and distributed new unit demands
- Maintain standard CoFS and Empty Bird schedules, labor models, cost models, and generic tool lists
- Forecast future tool demands and coordinate with operational groups and the tooling depots
- Manage special programs to implement fleet-wide solutions for technical issues
- Ensure outages are scheduled and resource demands are visible in SalesForce
- Assist in tooling orders for new unit sites
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Company is looking for O-3 and early O-4 Junior Military Officers with excellent leadership and a strong track record of success and results.
- Ability to form strong genuine relationships with coworkers and customers!
- BS in Engineering, or related field, preferred. Or combined equivalent (extensive experience/educational background including potential technical certifications or degrees).
- Knowledge of power plant maintenance or construction, Gas or Steam Turbines, preferred and helpful.
- Hard-working and resourceful to achieve goals independently in addition to working well in groups.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work for yourself and others, under strict timelines and being flexible to changing needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong technical writing skills. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and ability to learn others as needed).
- Flexibility and willingness for domestic and international travel up to 20%.
