Description
The CNC Machine Tool Electrician / Commissioning / Service Technician will perform electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on large CNC machine tools such as vertical lathes, milling machines, and grinders. This role ensures the successful startup, calibration, and operation of high-precision CNC machinery while working closely with engineers and technicians to optimize performance and reliability.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or engineering degree/certification preferred
• Proven experience as a Machine Tool Repair or Installation Technician, CNC Equipment Maintenance, or related role
• Strong electrical and CNC aptitude; Siemens 840D sl/pl/Sinumerik One or Heidenhain experience a plus
• Ability to read and interpret PLC architecture, technical manuals, and blueprints
• Experience with servo motors, drives, and motion control systems
• Ability to understand, create, and modify PLC logic
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills
• German language skills a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel 80%+ across the U.S. and Canada
