Description
The Maintenance Technician – Multi-Craft is responsible for the safe troubleshooting, repair, installation, inspection, and maintenance of production equipment and facility systems within an industrial manufacturing environment. This role supports both mechanical and electrical maintenance activities and helps ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
The position requires strong troubleshooting abilities, the capability to read technical documentation and schematics, and the flexibility to support both scheduled and emergency maintenance activities.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical ladder logic diagrams, P&IDs, and electrical codes
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate mobile industrial equipment and complete required company training
• Ability to work overtime on short notice
• Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices

Requirements
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Receive and interpret work orders, blueprints, schematics, and repair instructions
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and machinery
• Diagnose equipment failures, wear conditions, lubrication issues, and operational deficiencies
• Determine the most effective repair methods to minimize production downtime
• Perform temporary and permanent repairs as required
• Advise supervision when equipment shutdowns are necessary to prevent damage
• Dismantle, clean, repair, adjust, install, assemble, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and process control equipment
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Transport, maintain, and properly store tools and equipment
• Support additional maintenance activities as assigned by supervision
