Description

Seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations and equipment reliability within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a leader with experience overseeing production equipment, driving operational performance, and ensuring equipment reliability across a manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will serve as a key link between Operations and Maintenance, helping maximize production uptime, improve equipment performance, and lead a team of maintenance technicians in support of daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians supporting production operations.
  • Oversee the performance, reliability, and maintenance of manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure production schedules are met with minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
  • Monitor equipment performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Manage work order priorities, maintenance planning, and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, food safety, and company standards.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to maintenance personnel.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing production equipment, manufacturing operations, or maintenance teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, food production, packaging, distribution, or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of equipment reliability, production flow, and downtime reduction strategies.
  • Experience managing maintenance activities for automated production equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience working closely with Operations to support production goals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Reliability Engineering or Reliability Supervisor experience.
  • Experience with high-speed packaging, processing, or automated production equipment.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, or Maintenance Connection.
  • Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Technical degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or related field.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets, projects, and capital improvements.
  • Military leadership experience in maintenance or operations.
