Title: Field Service Manager
Location: Copell, TX
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $100K - $125K

Travel: 50% Regional Travel occasional overnight stays

Position Description: The Field Service Manager provides field-based leadership and oversight for service and maintenance operations across the SMS product line. This role supports reactive service calls, preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and sales support activities within the assigned geography. As the key driver of service quality and customer satisfaction, you’ll manage a team of Field Service Engineers, oversee operational performance, and ensure alignment with company KPIs and compliance standards.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of National Service Business and works cross-functionally with Sales, Technical Support, Project Management, and customers.


Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage daily field service operations including installation, repair, and preventive maintenance
• Supervise and mentor a regional team of Field Service Engineers
• Ensure achievement of financial goals including service billing, contract bookings, and T&E optimization
• Partner with Sales and Project Management to support customer success and new installations
• Maintain high service quality through KPIs: response time, system uptime, PM completion, and customer satisfaction
• Recruit and onboard field engineers to support organizational growth
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks (service tickets, expenses, inventory, compliance)
• Provide escalation support and collaborate with support teams on technical issues
• Travel is needed to develop strong relationships with customers and team members

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree OR 5+ years of equivalent field leadership experience (master’s preferred)
• 10+ years in Radiographic Medical Imaging or equivalent technical service field
• 5+ years in progressively senior leadership roles in complex service organizations
• 3+ years of consultative or strategic service sales experience preferred
• Must have prior experience in technical service environments with customer-facing responsibilities
• Proficiency in interpreting schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical instructions
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and relevant diagnostic tools

• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage remote teams and multiple field projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with solid reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Capable of managing workload schedules and achieving service performance metrics
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision in both office and customer environments
