Description

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding industrial equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role supports production by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment failures, completing repairs, and ensuring equipment is returned to service safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will perform complete operational checkouts, equipment modifications, disassembly and reassembly, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting while maintaining high quality standards and minimizing equipment downtime. Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures.
  • Disassemble, repair, rebuild, and reassemble industrial equipment and machine components.
  • Perform operational testing, calibration, and final equipment checkout after repairs.
  • Support equipment installations, relocations, and modifications.
  • Maintain repair documentation and follow established repair and return processes.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and technical documentation to identify equipment issues.
  • Maintain a safe work environment while following company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Assist with facility maintenance projects and other duties as assigned.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational, Technical School, or associate degree preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Experience working with industrial equipment, manufacturing machinery, automotive equipment, or heavy mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Industrial maintenance experience.
  • Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic troubleshooting.
  • Welding or fabrication experience.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • Preventive maintenance (PM) experience.
  • Manufacturing or production maintenance background.
  • Military maintenance experience.
