Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Kinston, NC
Shift: 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm) and 3rd Shift (11pm – 7:30pm) (Overtime average 50-55hrs per week)
Compensation: $25.50-$34/hr + $1/hr Shift diff

Position Description:
The Maintenance Technician has responsibilities to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment in a food processing environment. This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters, such as electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. This person will perform medium to high-level machine systems troubleshooting and repair and provide technical support for all phases of the operation. This work will be of average to considerable difficulty in the accomplishment of a variety of mechanical maintenance actions.
Requirements:
These positions are ideal for current/former military technicians. Candidates should have an electro-mechanical background and a background in industrial maintenance. Should have experience with Motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, (ect), PLC experience is a big plus. Huge plus if already have a background in food manufacturing / processing or have a vocational, technical diploma or greater. Should be able to read/ reference blueprints, schematics (including electrical), wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
