Description
We are seeking three Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to join a leading mechanical contracting firm specializing in commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. The ideal candidates are proactive, friendly communicators who are energized by servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems. This position requires a skilled, dependable technician who thrives on completing work efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial heating, ventilating, and cooling systems.
- Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
- Travel to job sites in the service area and coordinate with dispatch to maintain schedules.
- Be available for on-call rotation, including nights or weekends, for emergency service.
- Maintain company vehicle and ensure it is stocked with required tools, parts, and safety equipment.
- Document all work performed, including equipment details, test measurements, and photos as needed.
- Provide accurate invoices on-site and obtain customer signatures upon completion.
- Identify opportunities for additional services or system upgrades and report them to dispatch.
- Participate in company and industry-provided technical training.
- Comply with all company safety and operational policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical manuals.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Regular, punctual attendance required.
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
