Salary: $125- $150k

Rapidly growing company, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Tax Manager who is experienced in the full range of tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax planning in a public global commercial company. Reporting to the Tax Director, the Tax Manager will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the corporate tax accounting of the companies consolidated group in accordance with ACS 740, US state and federal tax reporting, tax planning, and transfer pricing planning and compliance. The successful candidate will be a seasoned manager, capable of working in a matrix global organization, with superb attention to details. The position requires both strong technical skills and a strategic mindset.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Global Corporate Tax Accounting

Assist external service provider in preparing the quarterly and annual tax provision and US GAAP reporting, including footnotes, to the SEC Forms 10Q and 10K.
Manage quarterly information requests and foreign tax packages to support the tax provision for each foreign affiliate.
Adhere to department policies to manage, update, and ensure the tax accounting quarterly and annual procedures comply with the Tax Department SOX controls.
Assist in preparation and analysis of legal entity forecasting and cash flow forecasts.
North America Tax Compliance

Serve as primary point of contact with external service provider to coordinate the accurate and timely preparation of annual federal, state, and local income and non-income tax filings for the United States and Canada.
Manage external service provider for US international tax compliance including Forms 5471, 8858, and 1118, and additional statements and disclosures.
Manage external service provider for monthly Sales and Use Tax, Canada GST/HST and Quebec QST returns.
Global Tax Compliance

Provide technical support related to tax audits and perform analysis to build audit defense strategies.
Assist the external service provider with Transfer Pricing documentation and planning.
Other Tax Matters

Perform tax analysis and research related to global tax planning initiatives, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and audit activities.
Monitor law/regulation changes and update our internal system and procedures as needed.
Complete special projects including acquisition due diligence, Sarbanes Oxley process and tax systems/process improvement, and tax planning with limited supervision.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or advanced tax degree preferred.
7 plus years of relevant tax accounting and compliance experience.
Experience with multinational companies.
Strong technical knowledge of FAS109/ASC740, FIN 48/ASC740-10 and related applicable authoritative literature.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills for multi-tasking.
