Description
The Production Worker is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by following production procedures, operating equipment safely, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in an industrial setting and can work safely, efficiently, and independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow written work instructions, procedures, and control plans.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Feed mills according to established production requirements.
- Pull and document product samples as required.
- Package products according to quality standards and control plans.
- Operate forklifts safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the facility.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Reliable transportation and attendance.
- Willingness to work any shift, including shift rotations if required.
- Ability to work in dusty, hot, cold, and outdoor environments as needed.
Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience.
- Forklift operating experience or certification.
- Experience working around conveyors, mills, or industrial equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience following SOPs, work instructions, or quality control procedures.
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing facility.
- Dusty environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- May require outdoor work.
