About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining selective solder, press fit, and depanel machines in support of electronic assembly production. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to IPC standards, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment supporting mission-critical defense programs.

What You'll Do

  • Start up, operate, and maintain selective solder, press fit, and/or depanel machines
  • Perform prep work and manual insertion of through-hole components
  • Mask PCB assemblies as required
  • Identify and verify electronic components
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions
  • Perform duties in accordance with IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards
  • Ensure safe and accurate machine operation with minimal supervision
  • Follow all PPE, safety, and environmental compliance procedures
  • Work overtime as needed to support production schedules

Must-Have Skills and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed
  • Ability to distinguish colors, fine circuit detail, and tonal differences
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Ability to operate safely with minimal supervision

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Certification in soldering
  • Experience working to IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing
