Position Details
Location: Akron, OH
Compensation: $29 - $32/hr, the better you interview the better you will be compensated. Anything over 40 hrs and Sat is OT, Sun and Holidays are Double Time!
Shift: M-F Day shift, candidates will make their schedule based on customer demand.
Travel: You will travel by company vehicle to various customer plant locations within your territory M-F. Laptop, cell phone and all tools are provided!

Position Description
As a Senior Field Service Representative, you will perform duties to install and provide on-demand/scheduled service and training for all general-purpose equipment and a wide variety of industrial and specific application machines. You will get to make your own schedule.

Position Requirements
• The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns of electro-mechanical functions and making necessary repairs.
• If you are a little heavier on the mechanical side with your skills this will be an easy transition.
• Ability to defuse situations with customers and calmly handle any unforeseen issues at the work site. This will be key to maintaining good customer relationships and standing out amongst your peers.
• Ability to maintain effective customer relationships via tactful explanations of product failures, requiring discussion, persuasion, and obtaining of approvals.
• PLC (operations) and previous customer service experience is a big plus here.
• Ability to communicate essential information on a timely basis to key stakeholders such as customers, management, and engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics as required for installation, repair, special conversions, and retrofits of customer equipment.
