Description

The Sales / Distribution Center Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and order fulfillment activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and storage organization. This role is accountable for the overall performance of warehouse functions, including safety, quality, financial performance, and process efficiency.
The supervisor will lead warehouse staff, optimize workflows, and ensure cost-effective and high-quality service to internal and external customers. This position works closely with operations, accounting, customer service, logistics, purchasing, inventory management, and sales teams to enhance the overall customer experience.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, or 10 years of supervisory experience in distribution or operations management
• 5–10 years of experience supervising employees in warehouse, distribution, or operations environments
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze processes and implement improvements

Requirements
• Manage and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure efficient shipping and operations
• Oversee receiving, storing, and shipping of materials
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts
• Review and improve warehouse processes, policies, and procedures
• Maintain safety standards and promote a safe work environment
• Organize and maintain accurate records, metrics, and reporting
• Conduct physical inventories and provide inventory reports
• Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams
• Hire, train, supervise, and develop warehouse staff
• Assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Provide daily guidance and oversight to team members
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions
• Support cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, and sales
