Compensation: First-Year Total Comp = $102,000 – $132,000

- Base Salary: $75,000 – $100,000
- Average Overtime: $11,250 – $15,000
- Target Bonus (5%): $3,750 – $5,000
- Annual Value of Company Car: $12,000

Position Description:
The Customer Service Engineer is a field-based, customer-facing role responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and modifying medical equipment at customer sites. You will perform on-site repairs, preventative maintenance, and training to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. This position requires independent work, strong technical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and service designated equipment with strong knowledge of mechanical, electronic, optical, and operational aspects
- Perform troubleshooting and on-site customer repairs
- Provide training to customers following installations
- Complete warranty and maintenance work to maintain high customer satisfaction
- Support clinical field trial installations
- Manage territory financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and inventory control
- Interface with internal teams (Customer Care, Technical Managers, Product Managers, Sales) and customers to deliver superior service
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electronic systems, troubleshooting, and repair
- Excellent customer service skills, including relationship development, conflict resolution, and communication
- Ability to interpret schematics and flowcharts
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to explain technical situations clearly
- Excellent documentation and PC skills
- Bio-medical field experience a plus, but not required
