Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance and reliability across multiple bakery manufacturing facilities. This hands-on leadership role will focus on equipment uptime, maintenance team development, facility reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop maintenance teams across multiple facilities
  • Build and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Oversee production equipment including sheeters, dividers, mixers, proofers, ovens, and conveyors
  • Use CMMS, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and OEE data to identify issues and improve reliability
  • Lead Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis initiatives
  • Partner with Production and Engineering to improve efficiency, quality, and equipment performance
  • Oversee HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, electrical, plumbing, and facility systems
  • Manage vendors, contractors, equipment installations, and facility projects
  • Lead capital projects, maintenance budgets, spare parts, and procurement
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, GMP, SQF, and food safety requirements
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to site maintenance leaders
  • Standardize maintenance practices and share best practices across facilities

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • 7+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience, preferably in food or bakery manufacturing
  • Multi-site maintenance leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and refrigeration systems
  • Experience with equipment reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance
  • Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance data
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Lean, Six Sigma, CMRP, or PMP certification preferred
  • Ability to travel between facilities

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced food manufacturing environment
  • Regular presence on the manufacturing floor and around operating equipment
