Description
This position is part of the maintenance team supporting a high-output fiberglass insulation plant. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex production line systems and support equipment, including two industrial melters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment during daily operations
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Support projects related to plant expansion, process improvement, and safety
- Work with external contractors on equipment installs and upgrades
- Assist operators during equipment cleaning and product changeovers
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong electrical, electronic, or mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with motors, VFDs, sensors, controls, robotics, conveyors, gearboxes, and other production systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Team-oriented, safety-focused, and strong communicator
- Must pass a Ramsey skills assessment, background check, and drug screening
