Description
Seeking energetic, motivated Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations at a long-standing production facility that has operated for over 50 years producing premium retread rubber materials. You’ll set up, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of production systems including conveyors, presses, mills, and mixing equipment—keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot systems from simple adjustments down to PLC I/O and card level; handle 4–20 mA and 0–10 V control loops. (Most maintenance calls are mechanical.)
- Maintain and repair components under 480 V.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Apply safety protocols (LOTO, PPE, confined space, hot work) in every task.
- Complete work orders, document activities, and communicate effectively.
- Participate in skill development and technical training.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience (mechanical & electrical).
- Proficiency with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, controls, and/or PLC troubleshooting.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
- Military experience highly preferred.
- Must pass written assessment (150 questions—basic mechanical, AC/DC, controls/PLC, and basic skills).
