Description
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the service, installation, and repair of automated pump stations, controls, piping, valves, and related equipment within an assigned operating area. This role involves hands-on technical work, customer interaction, and identifying opportunities for equipment and service sales.
The technician represents the organization directly with customers and is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism while supporting system performance and reliability.

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules

Requirements
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on automated pump systems
• Use diagnostic tools including multimeter, process meter, megger, vibration meter, and laser alignment tools
• Install pump stations, pumps, and motors using cranes and heavy equipment
• Set up and maintain telemetry networks using radios, cellular modems, and DSL lines
• Perform preventive maintenance on pump systems
• Instruct customers on proper operation and maintenance procedures
• Identify and promote equipment and service sales opportunities
• Represent the organization professionally in all customer interactions
