Description
A leading provider of advanced technical systems is seeking Field Service Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mission-critical equipment at customer sites throughout the United States and around the world.
This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy hands-on work, solving complex technical problems, and traveling extensively. Technicians will work directly with customers, support operational readiness, and ensure equipment reliability in demanding environments, including commercial facilities and military installations.
What You'll Do
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform corrective actions to restore operational readiness
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and system performance evaluations
- Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and modernization efforts
- Document service activities, maintenance actions, and technical findings
- Interface directly with customers to provide technical support and training
- Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve escalated issues
- Travel extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally in support of customer requirements
What We're Looking For
(Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education):
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience
- Background working with electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or automated systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams
- Experience using diagnostic and test equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively, often on short notice
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain required travel documentation
Preferred military backgrounds include:
- Navy ET, FC, EM, IC, STG, GSE, GSM, MM, DC
- Army 15-Series Aviation Maintenance, 91-Series Mechanical Maintenance, 94-Series Electronics Maintenance
- Air Force Avionics, Electrical & Environmental Systems, AGE, Radar, Electronic Warfare
- Marine Corps Aviation Maintenance and Electronics Technicians
Veterans with strong technical troubleshooting backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
