Description
The Reliability Engineer will work with cross functional teams and be responsible for Companies process / packaging / product qualification and ongoing reliability monitoring program. The position will also manage schedules for the reliability test and publish reliability reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust reliability test plans, requirements and strategies for new products / processes / package qualifications in a fabless environment.
- Drive Reliability Hardware design, schematic, Layout, and Fabrication.
- Develop and Execute HTOL, ESD, and Latch Up stress in Comapany Labs and with external reliability lab houses.
- Debug Reliability Hardware and products to make them ready for stress.
- Oversee all product / process qualifications and ensure qualification schedules are met.
- Generate and follow up reliability test travelers.
- Tracking, shipping/receiving, and ATE/Reliability Test coordination of the incoming and outgoing quality test samples between the internal ATE and external reliability lab houses.
- Perform basic data analysis per ATE test results.
- Review the reliability test results and provide status for the reliability qualifications and evaluations.
- Perform new technology reliability assessments.
- Conduct critical reliability activities throughout a products life cycle.
- Design for reliability, reliability requirements, reliability predictions, reliability risk assessments / management / mitigation, etc.
- Provide Failure Analysis support.
- Publish both internal and customer reliability reports.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- 4+ years' experience Reliability Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of reliability standards (JEDEC and AEC-Q).
- Detailed oriented and able to communicate with cross functional teams.
- Experience with SMUs, Oscilloscope, Function generators.
- Experience with Hardware/Board debug and validations.
- Familiar with Schematic and layout reading and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
- Understanding of various reliability tests such as ESD, Latch-up, and HTOL.
- Ability to track and drive reliability activities as a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
- Strong technical documentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficient at Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel, to publish reliability reports.
