Key Responsibilities

Program & Process Leadership

• Integrate and manage MEP and Commissioning (Cx) workflows across multiple project phases.
• Establish and refine program-level processes that improve documentation, turnover readiness, and trade coordination.
• Align project execution with GC standards, client expectations, and internal delivery models.

Manpower & Resource Coordination

• Coordinate staffing levels across mechanical, electrical, controls, and specialty resources.
• Forecast manpower needs based on upcoming project phases and schedule shifts.

Client & End-User Engagement

• Lead or support customer-facing and end-user meetings, translating technical details into actionable decisions.
• Represent the GC or project team in technical discussions related to MEP systems, turnover readiness, and integration risks.
• Maintain professional presence with owners, vendors, and senior leadership stakeholders.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

• Support billing, invoicing, and cost tracking activities tied to manpower and service delivery.
• Assist in contract alignment, scope clarification, and change management discussions.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation supporting project financials.

Project-Level Support & Mentorship

• Provide direct support to field Superintendents, PMs, and trade leads.
• Mentor junior coordinators, superintendents, and technical specialists.
• Assist in resolving technical or workflow conflicts impacting schedule or quality.

Training & Development

• Coordinate internal and external training initiatives to strengthen cross-discipline knowledge.
• Promote continuous improvement and lessons-learned feedback loops across projects.
• Encourage structured development pathways for emerging leaders.

Industry Engagement

• Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade associations.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, standards, and best practices in mission-critical construction.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education

• 8+ years of experience in MEP construction, commissioning, or mission-critical project environments.
• Demonstrated project management or program coordination experience on complex builds.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems integration.
• Experience interfacing with General Contractors, owners, and subcontractors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management and documentation tools (scheduling software, issue tracking platforms, reporting systems).

Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education

• Navy Nuclear background strongly preferred, especially:
  • Multiple sea tours
  • Senior enlisted leadership or officer experience
  • Reactor operations, maintenance management, or engineering watch standing
• BAS / Controls experience, including familiarity with building automation systems, controls logic, or systems integration.
• Data Center Commissioning and/or Operations experience, including integrated systems testing, turnover readiness, or live-site operational support.
• Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with formal commissioning (Cx) processes and turnover documentation standards.
