Position Details
Location: Canandaigua, NY
Salary: $31.25/hr to start + shift differential + OT @ 10% for total comp of $80K+ 1st year.
Shift: 12-hour rotating night shift; Up to 15% shift differential, as well as overtime and bonus.

Position Description
As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing equipment start-up, troubleshooting, and maintenance on production equipment in a clean room environment and will interact directly with the engineering team to manage equipment up-time. This position will involve shift work and overtime. Responsibilities will include:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacture specifications to improve the overall equipment up-time.
• Perform elector-mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis and present solutions or improvements.
• Interact with process and equipment engineers in collaborative efforts to improve efficiency, up-time, and availability.
• Assist other Semiconductor Equipment Technicians as needed.
• Assist with or perform calibrations on fab and packaging tools in support of ISO-9001-214.
• Work with team to achieve overall processing goals on schedule.
• Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental, and quality guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and company regulation to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner, as well as other reasonable duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
• Creative, self-driven, problem-solving, and experienced Semiconductor Equipment Technician with the ability to quickly grasp and resolve challenges.
• Associate degree (A.A.S) with emphasis on electronics, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or equivalent technical training or equivalent military training and experience.?
• Ability to troubleshoot to a system or component level of complex tools involving medium and high vacuum, high voltage, chemicals, robotics, pneumatics, RF, gasses and pressure, cooling, and abatement systems.?
• Minimum of three years’ experience in equipment maintenance is highly preferred.?
• Experience in semiconductor or MEMS fabrication and support equipment maintenance is a plus.?
• Some knowledge of popular MEMS and semiconductor production platforms.?
• Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including effective problem-solving ability and good communications skills. ?
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/9015. ?
