Title: National Service Director
Location: Long Beach, CA
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $125K - $150K plus Bonus

Position Description: The National Service Director (NSD) will lead the National Service Team across North America (U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean), managing the delivery and performance of diagnostic imaging products and services provided by Corporation (Japan) and other primary suppliers. This role ensures high-quality service operations through leadership of Service Managers, customer relationship development, cost management, and strategic service planning.
The NSD works closely with the VP of National Service and collaborates across Operations, Sales, Executive Leadership, dealer partners, and healthcare customers. Success in this role requires excellent leadership, communication, and a proactive service mindset to drive customer satisfaction and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of national service activities and teams
• Develop and execute strategic service delivery plans and goals
• Lead and mentor Service Managers to enhance regional service performance
• Monitor service quality metrics and customer satisfaction standards
• Manage escalated customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
• Lead regular performance reporting and audits across service functions
• Manage service contracts, costs, and vendor relationships
• Drive improvement in service procedures, systems, and tools
• Participate in pricing strategy and profitability forecasting
• Support cross-functional communication and alignment with Sales, Ops, and customers
• Represent the service organization at trade shows and industry events
• Travel extensively to maintain strong customer and team relationships
• Maintain technical and regulatory compliance knowledge (FDA, state/local)
• Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Service Director or Senior Service Manager in healthcare, medical imaging, or related industry
• Deep knowledge of service management practices and compliance regulations
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and operational planning abilities
• Ability to analyze service performance and execute improvements
• Familiarity with product positioning, customer proposals, and competitive landscape
• Effective public speaking and presentation abilities
• Regulatory knowledge of medical devices (FDA, radiation safety, state/local requirements
Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Electronics, Engineering, Technology, or related field
• 10–15 years of experience in related service leadership roles
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior or director-level management capacity
