Title: Industrial Electrician
Location: Albany, NY (Delmar/Feura Bush)
Shift: Starts as Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm; transitions to 3-on, 3-off 12-hour rotating day/night schedule
Compensation: $41.31/hr training rate; $44.01/hr certified rate (typically within 6 months) + $1/hr night shift bonus + OT + annual performance raise. Expected first-year earnings $90K–$110K+

Position Overview:
As an Industrial Electrician, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical production systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role includes diagnosing electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting facility upgrades and expansions.
As an Industrial Electrician, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical production systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role includes diagnosing electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting facility upgrades and expansions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant electrical systems up to 480V
- Maintain motors, starters, VFDs, I/O controls, and some robotics on production equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment failures
- Support project work for plant growth, upgrades, and safety improvements
- Coordinate with outside contractors for installations and equipment servicing
- Assist operators to reduce downtime and support scheduled changeovers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Proficient with electrical systems up to 480V
- Strong troubleshooting skills for input/output controls, drives, and related systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safety and detail
- Must pass a background check and full-panel drug test prior to employment
