Position Description: Installation Supervisor
The Installation Supervisor provides on-site coordination for all phases of installation projects from start to finish, including coordinating subcontractors, customer’s, vendors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, work is proceeding on schedule and within budget, and safety is being strictly enforced. Supervisor is responsible for schedule, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.
Technical Skills and Job Specific Tasks:
Coordinate and supervise all construction services, activities, and personnel. Identify and solves problems.
Direct daily coordination of all TGW subcontractors and TGW staff to achieve completion of the project on schedule within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
Communicate job information to proper personnel to allow for effective planning and execution of the project requirements.
Maintain construction schedule, schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
Order materials and schedule inspections necessary throughout the installation process
Maintain positive relationships with customers, general contractors, suppliers and other employees.
Manage labor hours, materials, equipment and subcontractors to ensure cost control
Facilitate employee safety and ensure procedures are properly being followed striving with a goal of no accidents per calendar year.
Ensure all paperwork is properly completed, including daily reports, job startups, timecards, tool box talks and anything else specific per jobsite
Location: Candidate can live anywhere - near a major airport
Supervisory: 5 – 40 member teams for each project
Travel: High travel – projects can last a week, or a month / large scale project could take up to a year / candidates will stay overnight near the project site at either a hotel or apartment - paid by the company/ for longer projects candidates will fly home every couple weeks.
Salary: $78K - $85K base initially + $450 monthly truck allowance + gas & insurance paid + annual bonus + $50 per diem 24/7 + OT + paid travel + laptop and phone = W2 $110K - $120K
Requirements: Significant management and execution experience is required, installation experience preferred for these positions. Typically, military officers and technical enlisted supervisors who have aligned experience leading technical military operations, inspections, audits, compliance, programs, projects perform exceptionally well in this role leveraging an OPS focused background. Pr ASRS experience in cranes and shuttles
Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project)
Autocad experience a plus
Ability to work with numerous contractors as well as internal departments
Knowledge in the conveyor installation process
Familiarity in the controls aspect of material handling equipment
Read and interpret blueprint drawings, submittals and specifications.
Travel 90% of time
Completion of OSHA 30 hour training
