Your Mission: Precision in Every Photon
We’re seeking a Senior Production Technician with expert hands, sharp intuition, and an unwavering eye for detail. You’ll be an integral part of our Scientific Department, where prototypes evolve into precision instruments — and lasers into legacy.
This role blends the technical with the tactile — a hands-on craftsman in the laser arts. From complex fiber splicing to diagnosing electronics that govern beams of light, you'll be trusted to build, refine, and elevate high-performance systems.

What You’ll Do
• Construct, align, calibrate, and test advanced fiber lasers and optical amplifier systems.
• Handle high-precision fiber optics, including single-mode and polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber splicing and routing.
• Troubleshoot analog and digital control circuits — from control boards to optical monitors.
• Analyze system performance and translate test data into actionable insights and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers to roll out design improvements and technical upgrades.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of processes, performance, and production data.

What You Bring
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Laser Technology, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years in laser manufacturing or optoelectronic systems — you’ve been in the trenches.
• Mastery of fiber optic handling, electronic diagnostics, and high-fidelity testing.
• Proficiency with test tools: oscilloscopes, optical power meters, spectrum analyzers, and more.
• Ability to interpret complex schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• A working understanding of fiber laser physics or amplifier systems is a major plus.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and juggling multiple tasks with focus and precision.
