Position Description:
Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support operations at their industrial laundry facility. This role involves maintaining, repairing, installing, and troubleshooting a variety of industrial systems and equipment to ensure optimal facility performance and safety. Responsibilities include:
• Maintenance and repair of industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers
• Preventive and predictive maintenance tasks
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical system issues
• Performing various welding tasks (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing)
• Conducting boiler chemical testing and making necessary adjustments
• Managing inventory and maintenance records
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and resolving safety concerns
• Mentoring junior Maintenance Technicians
• Coordinating with internal teams and outside service vendors
• Responding to emergency maintenance issues and alarms
• General indoor and outdoor housekeeping duties
Position Requirements:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment in an industrial or military environment
• Ability to read technical literature and blueprints
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours per shift
• High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
• Experience with boiler systems
• HVAC knowledge
• Welding skills (MIG, TIG, ARC, brazing, cutting)
