Position Details:
Title: Field Service Tech
Location: Allendale, NJ
Shift: Monday – Friday 9AM – 5PM
Compensation: $28-$35 Per Hour + OT
Benefits: Full comprehensive benefits package + 401(k) match
Travel: 30% - Primarily regional day to day travel – home every night. Occassional overnight travel.
Vaccine Requirement: No
Position Description: Install, maintain, trouble shoot, and do repairs on the companies CNC Machines.
• Replace ball screws, motors, and cartridge spindles.
• Use ladder and diagnostic functions on all controls.
• Phone support for troubleshooting; daily and heavy at times.
• Align and adjust tools.
• Repair spindle bearings.
• Align and interface the barfeed unit.
• Perform first part run off; ensuring machine acceptance.
• Travel to customer sites for repair and/or troubleshooting.
Requirements:
• 3-6 years’ experience in CNC machine tooling
• Electro-mechanical experience and exposure to automation
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read ladder diagrams and control diagnostics
• Interact professionally with customers by phone and in person
• Valid driver’s license and passport
