Field Service Engineer

The engineer will act as a key interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring system performance, resolving issues, and providing technical guidance. The role includes training opportunities, including apprenticeship training and international training.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education

• Associate degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, and related software
• Experience using computer applications including data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software
• Ability to obtain a passport and travel internationally
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

Requirements

• Install and maintain systems and retrofits at customer sites
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system issues
• Track and report system performance
• Develop and execute action plans to improve system availability and performance
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers
• Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams
• Escalate issues when necessary and collaborate with technical support teams
• Complete administrative tasks including work orders, service reports, and documentation
• Support and mentor less experienced personnel
• Answer customer questions and provide professional support
• Participate in training programs including apprenticeship and international training
