Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure in a heavy manufacturing environment. This role performs both mechanical and electrical maintenance, utilizing hand tools, power tools, hoists, and lift equipment to install, move, dismantle, and repair equipment. The technician conducts preventive maintenance to reduce downtime, supports process set-up and start-up activities, and works closely with other departments to coordinate repairs and scheduled downtime. The position requires strict adherence to safety protocols including PPE usage, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), hot work, confined space entry, and hazard analysis while actively contributing to the company’s safety culture and immediately addressing hazards, near misses, or incidents.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial environment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, torches, and precision measuring instruments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery, chemicals, and industrial vehicles

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Ability to safely work night shifts and extended schedules
• Commitment to safety procedures and safe work practices

• Experience with rotating equipment such as rotary kilns, granulators, or similar machinery
• Prior dual-craft maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical)
• Experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
