  • Compensation: $33/hour
  • Shifts Available:
    • Monday–Thursday Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (48 hours/week) – 1 opening
    • Friday–Sunday Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (36 hours/week; includes 11% shift differential so you earn the equivalent of 40 hours pay) – 2 openings

Position Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This dual-craft role involves mechanical and electrical work, ensuring safe and efficient operations of all equipment and facility infrastructure.
Key duties include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, assisting with equipment setup and startup, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to schedule downtime and repairs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair all operational equipment and facility infrastructure
  • Support process setup and startup as needed
  • Follow all company safety policies, including PPE use, LOTO procedures, confined space, and hazardous work guidelines
  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and reduce future repairs
  • Use hand tools, power tools, hoists, lift trucks, and other equipment safely and effectively
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Respond promptly to safety hazards, near misses, and incidents
  • Proactively suggest improvements to enhance safety culture and operational efficiency
  • Work safely in heavy industrial environments, including exposure to moving machinery, chemicals, and transport vehicles


Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics
  • Skilled in the safe use of hand tools, torches, welding equipment, pneumatic/electric tools, and precision measuring devices
  • Rotating equipment experience (e.g., rotary kiln, granulator) preferred
  • Ability to safely work in industrial environments with moving machinery, chemicals, and heavy equipment
