Description
The Director of Datacenter Market leads the strategy and execution for company’s engagement in the rapidly growing datacenter segment. You will own revenue growth, market positioning, and customer alignment across all applicable product lines. Serving as the application expert on datacenter power infrastructure, you will enable cross-functional success across Sales, Product Management, FAEs, and Marketing. You will collaborate with global teams and key customers in hyperscale, colocation, and OEM environments to ensure company solutions are designed-in early and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Growth: Lead revenue growth and the design-win funnel across datacenter applications, with the strategic goal of doubling the size of the $160M segment.
- Customer Alignment: Lead customer engagement, build deep insights into roadmap trends, and interpret customer roadmaps.
- Product Strategy: Translate application needs (e.g., HVDC, modular power, thermal reliability) into datacenter-specific product requirements and influence the product roadmap across business units.
- Market Intelligence: Track key industry trends, including the HVDC transition, sidecar power, power density, and sustainability.
- Team Enablement: Support sales and FAE effectiveness through targeted training and strategic engagement.
- Global Execution: Deliver technical marketing content, lead competitive positioning, and coordinate cross-functional execution globally.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- BSEE or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in power electronics, semiconductors, or datacenter infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of system-level power (AC/DC, HVDC, thermal, reliability).
- Proven experience with product definition and customer technical engagement.
- Exceptional global collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.

- Experience with protection devices or power semiconductors.
- Familiarity with open datacenter infrastructure standards.
- Prior engagement with system or architecture-level product co-development.
