Description
This is a hands-on engineering support role where you’ll work directly with Test Engineers to build, troubleshoot, and improve automated test systems used on advanced electronic components. If you enjoy working with circuits, test equipment, and solving real-world engineering problems, this role puts you close to the action in both development and manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
- Support the design, build, and maintenance of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware and software
- Build, analyze, and debug electronic circuits and test systems
- Assist engineers with new product development and validation testing
- Troubleshoot product and test system issues in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Construct custom test setups and fixtures for automated systems
- Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, etc.) to validate performance
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on technical experience
- 5–7+ years of experience in test engineering, electronics, or engineering support
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and DC-DC power electronics
- Experience working with Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and test specs
- Proficiency using lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, etc.
Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Experience with CAD tools (Altium, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Background in high-volume manufacturing or production test environments
- Experience building custom test fixtures or automated systems
