Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the service, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of automated pump stations, pump controls, piping, valves, and related equipment within an assigned territory. This role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical expertise to diagnose system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support customer operations. The technician serves as the primary on-site representative, maintaining a professional presence while educating customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance. In addition to technical responsibilities, this role partners with regional leadership and inside sales to identify opportunities for new equipment and service sales that align with customer needs.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting aptitude
• Experience working with automated pump systems, rotating equipment, or industrial systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and other electrical test equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel within an assigned operating area

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on automated pump systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
• Experience installing pumps, motors, and related equipment using cranes or heavy equipment
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on pump stations
• Ability to support telemetry systems using radios, cellular modems, or similar technologies
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and job priorities

• Military veteran technician background (electronics, electrical, electro-mechanical, or rotating equipment)
• Experience with vibration analysis, laser alignment, or advanced diagnostic tools
• Sales awareness or experience identifying service and equipment opportunities
• Experience supporting telemetry or remote monitoring systems
