Senior Field Service Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical power distribution equipment. This role is ideal for hands-on electrical professionals, electrical testing technicians, and military veterans with relevant  electrical, nuclear power, or power generation experience.

• Test, maintain, troubleshoot, and commission electrical power distribution equipment.
• Work with switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, protective relays, and substation equipment.
• Perform electrical testing using equipment such as Megger, TTR, relay test sets, and primary/secondary injection equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Document test results, prepare service reports, and communicate findings to customers.
• Travel to customer sites for maintenance, commissioning, and scheduled outages.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and company standards.

Education & Experience

• Hands-on experience with electrical power distribution, testing, maintenance, or commissioning preferred.
• Knowledge of switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and electrical troubleshooting.
• NETA certification and experience with specialized electrical testing equipment are a plus.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Military veterans with Navy nuclear, electrical distribution, power generation, or electrical maintenance experience are encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 50%, including occasional overnight stays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass required drug screening.
