Position Description:

• Support strategic sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain operations for highly engineered systems within a regulated nuclear technology environment
• Ensure purchased materials, components, and services meet technical requirements, quality standards, security, and compliance regulations
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, quality, and security/export control teams
• Manage sourcing activities, vendor relationships, contract terms, and procurement documentation
• Maintain schedule reliability, cost control, and supply chain continuity for critical programs

Responsibilities:
• Source and procure specialized materials, engineered components, and technical services
• Issue and manage RFQs/RFPs, evaluate proposals, and support supplier selection
• Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications to ensure procurement accuracy and compliance
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, commercial terms, and supply agreements
• Coordinate material planning, tracking, and expediting to meet program schedules
• Maintain procurement records, certifications, and documentation in ERP/MRP systems
• Partner with Supplier Quality to support audits, qualification activities, and corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to applicable standards (ISO, AS9100, NQA-1) and export control/security requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and cost reduction
• Build strong supplier relationships and identify opportunities for innovation and supply chain resilience

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of procurement or sourcing experience in a highly regulated or technical industry (nuclear, aerospace, defense, energy, or advanced manufacturing)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Experience with RFQ/RFP processes, vendor negotiations, and contract terms
• Knowledge of quality and compliance standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, NQA-1 or equivalent)
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have an active DOE/NRC Q-Clearance or DOD Top Secret clearance

Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Experience in nuclear, fuel cycle, or secure supply chain environments
• Knowledge of export controls (ITAR/EAR) and government/commercial contracting
• Supply chain certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or PMP
