Position Details
Location: Boston, MA
Compensation: $35-$50/hr plus OT; REASONABLE FIRST YEAR W2 ~ $80K-$100K+. Company will provide: Company Vehicle, Laptop (Microsoft Surface), PPE, Required Tools.
Shift: M-F, Typical Day Shift with some variance based on customer demand
Travel: 10-20%, dictated by customer needs and location

Position Description
As a Field Service Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving Low Voltage (up to 480 Volt) electrical issues for clients. You will ensure the timely installation, repair, and documentation of switchboard upgrades, electrical tie-ins, and other related equipment. You will support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible. You will also diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues and ensure that the work is performed in a professional and detailed manner in compliance with national and local building codes. You will test Switchgear Systems, LV & MV Circuit Breakers, Transformers, Automatic Transfer Switches, MV Switches, MV Cables, Instrument Transformers, etc. and perform primary Current Injection Test Equipment, DC Hipots, VLFs, DLROs, TTR Testers, FLIR IR Cameras, Meggers, Secondary Injection Testers, etc.
Position Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in Field Service Electrical Distribution Systems.
• Proven sales and customer service experience is always important.
• NETA LEVEL 2 or 3 highly preferred (will qualify you for higher end of pay band).
• If you do not have NETA certification, training/studies/experience towards this is beneficial. Company will assist you in pursuing and attaining NETA certification.
