Description
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for extensive travel to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair CNC fabricating machine tools at customer sites throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role provides high-quality technical support to ensure optimal machine performance while serving as a primary customer-facing representative. The Field Service Engineer documents machine conditions, recommends performance improvements, and trains customers on proper operation and service procedures to maximize productivity. This position plays a critical role in supporting customer success during equipment installations, repairs, and ongoing service engagements.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Hands-on experience with electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics, and hydraulics
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a practical, problem-solving mindset
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work independently in the field
• Comfortable with extensive travel (100%, Monday–Friday)
• Technologically savvy with experience using software and managing files
