Description
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for running daily plating operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll lead production teams, drive performance, and ensure safety, quality, and output goals are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production line performance and resolve issues quickly
- Ensure schedules, throughput, and quality targets are met
- Supervise, coach, and develop production team members
- Partner with maintenance to minimize downtime
- Track KPIs (scrap, cycle time, efficiency) and drive improvements
- Lead continuous improvement efforts (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Enforce safety and operational standards
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Lean Manufacturing / continuous improvement experience
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Plating, electronics, or precision manufacturing background
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- ERP system experience (SAP or similar)
- Experience in 2nd/3rd shift environments
- Aerospace, automotive, or regulated manufacturing experience
Shift & Pay
1st Shift (Mon–Fri | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- $75,000 – $100,000
3rd Shift (Sun–Thurs | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- $75,000 – $100,000
- 20% shift differential
